Musicians/worship leaders where chosen by the King and His military commanders, a worship leaders position is not just one of leading worship but one of leading the congregation in spiritual battle, therefore it was imperative that the King and Military commanders chose those individuals to serve in that capacity they had to be soldiers spiritual soldiers not just musicians.

As we go out to lead the congregation this morning we need to realize that corporate worship is a battlefield, a battle for the hearts and minds of those within the congregation,
Will we be used to lead God people into the “throne room” with softened hearts to hear Gods word or will we be entertaining for an hour and then go home?

Lord may we lead your people closer to you this morning, we pray that the songs we sing and word that is preached touch our hearts and lives in a way that we and our congregation will never be the same
