Context here is Palm Sunday and Christ entry, but from a worship leading perspective this is a refreshing reminder. Sometime it’s easy to think that people’s response to worship is because of your skill and talent as a musician and singer. This verse reminds me that worship, corporate worship is the people’s  response to Gods goodness

I have been in different worship setting  over the years where the skill and talent of the teams leading where sometimes lacking but the worshippers assembled were so passionate about their God that the worship leader was an after thought as those gathered expressed their love of God through song

Lord help me never to forget I am just a tool you choose to use and to be aware that I am replaceable, if need be rocks could cry out and give you the praise and glory due your name
